Ejaz Yousafi is a seasoned professional artist with over a decade of experience in the realm of landscape art. His artistic journey began in 1999 when he was mentored by his brother, Ustad Haji Riaz Baig. This foundational experience paved the way for his artistic development, leading him to further his skills under the guidance of Ustad Ehsan Qalamqar, where he focused on portraiture and anatomical studies.

In 2014, Ejaz ventured into the intricate world of calligraphy, honing his craft under the mentorship of Ustad Wajid Mehmood Yaqoot Raqam. His dedication and talent in calligraphy were recognized in 2018 when he won a prestigious national competition, showcasing his mastery of this art form.

Ejaz’s portraits have gained significant recognition, with his works displayed at the Lyallpur Museum, highlighting his skill and contribution to the art community. After achieving success in both portraiture and calligraphy, he felt a compelling desire to explore landscape painting, leading to his solo exhibition, “The Faisalabad Series,” held at Storia Art Gallery.

In addition to his solo work, Ejaz has participated in several group exhibitions and has made appearances on various television shows, further establishing his presence in the art scene. His passion for art continues to drive him as he explores new mediums and themes, enriching the cultural landscape of his community.
